Neil Gaiman — If you're in Reykjavik, Pennin...

If you're in Reykjavik, Pennin Eymundson bookshop has LOTS of signed books by the authors who are here for Iceland Noir. You will find signed books by the likes of Dan Brown, Richard Armitage and me.

Also here is a perfectly normal and unimpressive Icelandic landscape.

Partner is the same.
I can't personally see the point of going on holiday anywhere colder than where we live, but I was born and spent my early life in NZ so I carry the imprint of spectacular scenery with me anyway.
It's an ongoing discussion.

Cats of Yore

If you ever plan to go and want pointers just hmu, I was there in October - road trip with a friend. Fifteen days around the island, stopping by gorgeously desolated and wild places while avoiding tourist areas and their rush hours as much as possible.

Cats of Yore

I had a secret dream of casually running in to you and asking for a book rec.
This has two problems.
1) I have social anxiety and would never actually go up to you to talk.
2) I usually stay home and read when I have free time.
So, will you recommend me a book that has affected you in some way?

Neil Gaiman

I have heard Iceland IS one of the most boring landscapes on Earth. Why it is the top destination on my husband's dream travel list escapes me.

He is a librarian + worked in a comic book shop for a decade so maybe he heard about this bookshop? 😀
