No hate, but it is somewhat amusing that TLOU will now have more remasters than there are games in the series.

Probably one of the only series where even when pointing out something so mundane, you have to clarify "no hate" due to toxicity around it.
One of those things that is hilarious and ridiculous on the surface level but at least they're offering new content and a cheap upgrade for existing owners.
I think it's healthy to be able to laugh at the silliness but also be excited to pay $10 for the new game mode.
And it would likely look a lot less silly if their multiplayer game thing actually launched like they probably thought it would have by now. As it is, Naughty Dog on PS5 = remake/remaster and nothing else. Not great for a flagship Sony dev.

You're right though. The MP game stalling has been a real bummer because it all just adds to the wait for they're next thing, especially if your not excited about the MP.
Fair point, having both out with $70 price points on PS5 is a good thing for them as the show airs.
Although my theory is that season 2 of the show won't touch any non-flashback events from TLOU2, but that's another conversation...
The upgrade path is very nice, seems they listened from the last time. I'm not a big rougelike guy so it's not for me, but it's a cool concept to shake it up that way.
The skeptic in me says it is a mode from their unfinished, maybe dead online game.
TLOU2 gameplay was so polished that I'll at least try anything in that system, rogue likes are super hit or miss for me.
