So, like, I want to move to the site, but the inability for me to turn off retweets for individual users makes it unusable for me. Some of y’all retweet so fucking much, and I don’t want to unfollow you, but I also need to be able to turn off retweets for my feed to be readable. 
I've just turned off retweets altogether at this point. If I find the artist's stuff I want to see, I'd just follow them and see it myself.
You should try the OnlyPost feed! No reposting shows up at all, it really does help with all the extra clutter ^^

bluesky really needs to add the option to turn off reposts from individual people you follow. i don't want to turn off all reposts, and i don't want to unfollow some people, but i don't want to see people reposting shit like untagged incest. that's such a hard no for me.
I really hope @bsky.app gets the ability to turn off reposts per user and not for everyone. Some people just repost so much garbage but I might want to see their actual posts, whereas someone else might repost stuff I really want to see, so I don't want to turn it off entirely.

Right. Like, on Twitter, I turn off retweets from most accounts I follow, because most retweets are garbage (we all know it's true ;)
But, some retweets I keep on, from friends, scientists, etc., because they may have some value to me. I want to be able to do the same fine tuning here. :)
It’s lame I have to unfollow people I would simply turn off retweets for. The other option is muting them, but you never see @ mentions to you if you do that.
Some people are angry too much and RT’ing too much, especially their own content, but I still want to ENGAGE them.
I'm so happy you brought lists, but can you give us the ability to turn off replies and also allow reposts to be seen in them. Deck blue has the ability to turn off replies and it makes is so much more viewable. I don't want to see all the replies the people in it to people I don't follow.
That is a shame. It's unfortunate that you can't selectively turn of retweets for specific people. Some people really do overdo it, so I understand the desire to turn them off, but if you could just pick and choose I think it would be better

Thanks! I poked around and found out how to turn off the ability to see random replies from people you follow. I hated it so much that it made BSky unusable to me. It dominated my feed. Now I just need to find the news outlets and other accounts and I’ll be a happy camper.

I need to follow more people. But I also want to be able to individually turn off shares. Some accounts I like how much they repost, others are just toooo much.
The alternative would be to turn off ALL reposts but that's not what I want. I know people call for "more reposts" but I'd say, only repost if you really REALLY want your followers to see the thing. Otherwise it just turns into spam =/

I used to have music on all the time, but now I tend to leave it off. I have to turn it off anyway, if I want to turn around and play the piano.
I don't want to draw ANY attention to myself at all. The person quote reposted me and if I block them they will see. I want to be off their radar entirely. I don't want them following me anymore.
