Well rehearsed it looks like! That's great you get to see these beauties Christine, I'm not at all jealous! ๐
Excellent! Always Goldfinches with them but I like to see brave birds!! ๐
That's what I used to use, as you say it's adequate. Getting bigger or long is just extra weight! Uff.
Love these guys and there crackly glass songs!
Always good to see new birds, especially peeps! Well done ๐
The new leaves are always a great colour, you're right. And what a great little Sparrow with its orangy brown cap!
Beautiful picture! Our Crested Larks have long nails similar to this guy, crazy!
Here's to many more good years for you Scott.
That's true, not enough reach. That 600 is a very nice lens and only 3 kgs. Not sure I'd spend that much on a car but birds are different ๐คฃ
I had no idea Rabbits could be taught to use litter boxes! That's so clever. What a great picture of Franklin, did you ask him to walk the line like that? Clever bun.
They spend so much time under water but this one was very wet. ๐
Thank goodness it's not on mine. Dolphin Gull, hummingbirds, Toucans, Lammergeier, Antpittas, the list is endless!
I'd love to play with that lens! And how tame is that Sparrow, I love it when they have no fear like this. What a treat.
Does he listen, not a chance. ๐ Looking forward to the video, clackity clack clack clack!
Indeed they are, unlike my photograph filing system, which sucks.
Wonderful. The bird is not bad either ๐
Good to see you Scoots, you elusive fellow!
Man, why does he leave it so long? We're all worried. I even go through you skeets to see if it missed him! ๐
Nothing Gwen, they are for distributing their weight, when they are on top of floating water greenery. But I see why you thought that!
Aren't they! It seems like they're born with full size feets and have to grow into them ๐ Obviously not! (Just in case someone takes that seriously.)
Very sweet, well done! Maybe it's worth pushing the point after all. ๐
Talking of feets, how abouts these size huge feets!? ๐ชถ
Bird feet, you say? Here's an 'alae ke'oke'o (Fulica alai) with a nice tasty invertebrate for the kids, stepping out....๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ท
Crazy. Half the time I don't bother. I know what I saw.
I see a lot use the 1.4x with these lenses. Images look fantastic too.
That rolls off the tongue! Frank for short ๐
