I live in Canada now (2 provinces, Nova Scotia and Ontario), and still not a thing. So I'll forever know them as your term.
Chester with Jackson.
His routine never varies.
First he swims.
The public wharf.
An attempt is made at a private wharf.
And always an insistence on going down the trail. Which is always a no.
I went into town this morning for an easy 2.3 mile (3.7k) trail run. When Ian reaches a stopping point with work, we'll take Jacks to Chester for his swim. We try to take him every other day, but that doesn't always work out.
I went for a run in town at the same time, wearing shorts and a sun shirt and was quite comfortable.
I'm home, wearing shorts, a tshirt/sweater, and Denim jacket. It's a Jackson swim day so we'll be toasty there.
Everywhere around us will be 20° today. The cove of coldness? The high is 14°.
We should put a cage shaped in an infinity symbol at the surface, and people can visit that. Like a tombstone with people buried just a little further down. It'll drastically cut the rescue costs.
Rafa winning was sad. At least the woman beater knew better than to speak and gave Rafa his time to say goodbye.
We're usually up early enough to watch the first two matches of the day (British coverage, no droning on and on), and then catch a match as we eat dinner.
I have. I didn't want to say anything though because I saw you were on holiday.
Not EVERY match mind you, but I've seen a match here and there, plus reading about players we like.
How very American of them.
The tap water catches fire in the area where I grew up in Pennsylvania due to fracking. But as long as the oil companies get rich, who cares.
I live in one of the safest cities in Canada. I ALWAYS lock my bike.
I really think you should get an ebike. Great exercise, great mood stabilizer, great fuck you to the petrol companies. Does England offer any rebates?
It does. But for "omfg, are we done yet????" thoughts I like miles. They sound like nbd, while the amount of KMs overwhelms me. Afterward idk, as long as I'm done.
You'll love the whole not paying for gas for simple errands aspect.
It's a mountain bike. My seat is crazy expensive, and wonderful. 30bumpy trail miles just got to it
I know people who love their ebikes, especially the senior crowd around here. It has given them so much of their mobility back. I've thought about one for myself, but it's not time yet. Unless I moved out here permanently. It's all hills.
Those 30 miles are my refusal to quit, and "who says I can't?" Attitude. Not athleticism. But with all sports, someone always has to be the worst and I'm okay with that being me. I just require myself to finish.
We had a lovely 30.5 mile (49.08 km) bike ride. I may never feel my ass again, but I'm having fun.
It's practically new. If you can't sell it, at least have fun with it.
Eddie will see her shadow, and it'll be over. She's part cat, part groundhog.
Usually when we move in the field mice move out. Not this year. There's one chili powder eating mother fucker who has decided to stay. He gives not one fuck about traps. He laughs in the face of traps. What I need are some wharf cats. About 15 of 'em. Deranged ones.
There should never be an inheritance. #DieBroke, with every penny spent on a life well lived. Enjoy your new purchase.
Yes. Today appears to be a decent day, so we will be cramming in all the things. The fog this morning is the type that would speak to your Scottis soul. I wish I could teleport you and Bowie here to enjoy it.
I think the "at some point" (for my country at least) was at its inception. Heck, look at the fur traders of Canada and the US. Decimating resources (mainly beavers for pelts) were part of our founding. The Hudson Bay Company here, and the Astors there.
