#SundayPixStone This is the largest Hunebed (Dolmen) found in the Netherlands. They've set up a visitor centre by it in Borger, Drenthe.
#SundayPixStone Hunebedden (Dolmen) in Drenthe, with my two when they were tiny! (compared to now).
It's the one year anniversary of my non-fiction book, Kill The Goblins, & to celebrate the ebook is on sale for $0.99/ยฃ0.99! ๐ฅณ Grab it while you can! ๐๐๐๐ข๐ #books buy.bookfunnel.com/sj7yidmq1b
Sticky one, cuz you won't know until you are doing it, if it is something you do want to do.
Yep. Just been out for a walk. Bank holiday here - Whitsunday.
Love these. I bought a print of the bottom right one.
#SundayPixStone A couple of my favourite crystal grids - precious stones ๐ The green one is mainly forest epidote and pyromorphite minerals that crystalise on stone, the next has a green opal at its centre, smoky quartz, fire agate, and peridot, the last one is labradorite and black tourmaline.
I know you think they're pretty but stacking stones is not good for the environment. Put them back after if you feel the need. As they say 'take only photos, leave only footprints'.

Building rocky cairns or rock stacks on the rocky shore or in wilderness areas may seem harmless, but it can negatively affect the environment, wildlife and sense of place. Rock cairns are small piles...

www.sanparks.orgI've opened the bedroom window, which is in the side of the house where the lawn is & the mole repeller. I can hear it. ๐ฌ

I'm hoping to continue getting eyes on this. If you can't donate, please repost. A writer friend needs a new laptop, not just for writing but for working. Thanks in advance. And anyone still on the other place feel free to share it there too.

When you are having a low moment & you remember you have all these brilliant online friends. #that
Or a user guide, that's what I meant. A user guide is dos & don'ts which is what etiquette is.
It's a list of dos & don'ts - etiquette.
I talk to myself so now I can get away with that in public cuz they think I'm on the phone! ๐คฃ I remember noticing it for the first time when I was working in London at the end of the 90s. It was so strange.
But there's no double edge with having open speaker convos in public, it's a no-no to me.
One of my biggest pet peeves! Why do people think this is ok?
Same as my annoyance with people always taking phone calls with the speaker on so everyone can hear
Oh god I hate that so much. And so many people on the bloody phone in Supermarkets!
Agree. I can't stand this new obession of putting sound (music) on every video now. Especially on Instagram. I always have my sound off. Nothing worse than someone playing this stuff out loud in public.
Just so you know (though I realise you probably won't care) if your post relies on my playing some kind of sound to understand your point, I won't. I'm not going to inflict sound on unsuspecting people who may be near me. Either tell me what is being said or subtitle the video
I can't stand this new obession of putting sound (music) on every video now. Especially on Instagram. I keep all sound off. And I just scroll on by if a video isn't subtitled. It's all automated so there's no excuse not to.
#SundayPixStone The Olympic stadium by the Acropolis in Rhodes Old Town, on the greek island of Rhodes. Literal ancient stone as it dates back to 2nd/3rd century. Though the marble seating is thought to be recently refurbished around 150 yrs ago.
#SundayPixStone Lego Cow! (It's concrete rather thanstone, but stone is involved in the making of concrete).
#SundayPixStone Stone roman mosaic tiled floors at the Chedworth Roman Villa in Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds.
#SundayPixStone Uluru, (renamed by white men Ayers Rock but now returned to its Aboriginal name), in the northern territories, Australia. It is a single piece of stone, the tip exposed, separate to all those around. The orange colour is rust from the iron ore found it in. Its true colour is silver.
#SundayPixStone Avebury Stone Circle in Wiltshire. If hubby couldn't push them over they're pretty big.
๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ I'll be honest he's pretty hot at catching mice - & so is Suzy my other cat.
๐๐๐ The other question is knowing when it's gone. I'm also using these strong smelling capsules, digging into their tunnels & sticking them in. And I'll put all the repelling plants in the beds around it & see how we go. I wouldn't mind them being there as long as they didn't ruin my lawn!
No idea, maybe a week or two. It's only when I'm in the garden, it's not very loud. But it's just there. I've got my ear buds in listening to a podcast. I only hear it when I stop.
I'm fighting a parasite called scale on this guy. They keep persisting & so do I, but it's much easier to spot them in the sun. Some of you might remeber how it came to me after MIL diedin March of 2022. He's doing brilliantly.
I think the mole repellent buzzer thing is going to irritate me faster than the mole. Every 20 seconds it buzzes!
It's why I've left it wild round the tree.
I mow my bit if law a lot to thicken it out. Although currently it's got molehills!
Big hugs. That doesn't sound fun to deal with. Hope you can process whatever it reveals. Xx
โน๏ธโน๏ธโน๏ธ oh no. Sorry to hear that.
Morning. Hubby & I watched the first part of Rebel Moon last night & it was excellent. A real mix of Dune, Gladiator, Marvel movies, Matrix, Star Wars. Considering the director it's not surprising. Old tropes turned new. It was interesting & engaging. Looking forward to part two.
Oh no. I did that when I was in holiday in the uk.
