Bright orange leaves while walking in a meadow. Not sure what they are (question prunus genus) but so orange, just stunning.
Now sleeping on the ground is too hard. I toss and turn all night—even with a good pad or cot. I guess there is no place like home
Well, when it was young, I saw a few cute muddy prints on the tent. The next year there were a few claw poke marks higher up. I think the next treat it was bigger and slashed and scared itself and then just demolished it. I do like hanging out outside and the tent is shelter from rain, bugs, etc
I just have a small hot tent. I have a small wood stove for winter. I had an outfitter winter tent I would stay in for a few days and nights in winter, but a bear demolished it. Now I just hang out for several hours or most of a day, occasionally. Love the sounds in the woods in all of the seasons.
I have been emboldened by a Blsky gardening friend to put some of my flower/leaf art (interpretations) out here.
A maple leaf and a leaf with frost on the ground.
Beautiful. I so love flower and leaf art!!
Will add to this with a fleabane from a couple of days ago and two Iris interpretations from this spring 🌱
