The sad truth is that killing POWs wasn't uncommon for the US troops in WW2. And when the Poles fought in Narvik in 1940, the Germans were scared shitless of them. Because we, like, treated taking Germans as POWs as completely optional.
Any suggestions for a tactical history of the 1940 Battle of France- preferably focusing on the French Army?
