One of our cats had no interest in going outside and lived 17 happy years being an indoor cat. Another one ( main coon and Abyssinian mix) could not be kept from going outside, he tore trough screen doors and we had a challenge keeping him in after dark. They are all very different personalities🤗🤗🥰

just wanna mention cause many aren't aware that neutering/spaying cats is known to demonstrably increase cats' average lifespans + reduce their risk of developing multiple forms of cancer significantly. it is still absolutely your decision not mine (i mean that, i'm not trying to be hostile at all)

Also, for male cats in general, it is very important that you do not let them get too fat and make sure they get plenty of water. Feed wet food or mix dry with water. This will help avoid problems with the urinary tract. They have a small urethra, so overweight=bad sometimes.
