Мені здається малоймовірним те що вони гніздяться у містах.
The leaves are usually picked up as part of cleaning up before winter. Your neighbors might think less of you for an tidy yard or garden.
Or you can gather some to make composted leaf mould. Lovely stuff for your plants.
But we leave some areas untouched until Spring.
Unfortunately, it's not up to me if leaves would be left on a yard or picked up. But I can promise that I'll try my best to keep as much leaves on my yard when I will have one.
We all do what we can. Thank you.
The leaves left when you decided to leave after cleaning up the leaves are forming a committee to round up more leaves to cover your yard.
Hey folks. Your friendly ecologist neighborhood here. It's time for the fall season of Yard Wars.
Leaving leaves where they fall is good, but it's also fine to rake them up if you need to. You're not a bad environmentalist for cleaning up your yard.
A story in four parts:
1. Before I picked up leaves.
2. After I picked up leaves in the side yard
3. After I picked up leaves on whole property
4. The next morning.
😭
Went to cleaning up the vegetable garden yesterday and picked up some pretty leaves. then an idea of a fall foliage quilt emerged…
adding to this to say it’s fine to rake leaves into a pile around trees or use them for winter mulch or in your compost, but you should KEEP LEAVES WORKING FOR YOU IN YOUR YARD. They’re beneficial to many organisms and shouldn’t just be bagged up and discarded
Or is it not the leaves’ fault? Maybe if you take care of your backyard, the leaves wouldn’t fall as much. Yes, removing the rot was tried, but a more leafy tree set in its place. But if you let nature nurture your yard, you might be left with less falling leaves. #ModernDayParabel
Of course! Composted leaf mould is wonderful stuff for the garden. We compost ours, but leave most on the ground until spring. Then after 2 weeks of 50°F/10°C temps, we start cleaning up and cutting back the dead things. We don’t get much snow here, maybe 1” to 3” mostly in late winter, if it snows.
Gorgeous spring day. Got outside & did some clean-up in the yard. Picked up three months worth of dog poop. Yuck. Set up the badminton net for youngest progeny. Raked leaves out of the herb garden. Got my first sunburn of the season... oops.
You probably picked some without knowing when you set up your account... if you scroll to the right of your timeline (the house at bottom left) you can see what you picked... You can change them in the settings on your profile... or by clicking on # (bottom of screen towards the middle)...
Every fall I feel the pull of temptation to pile up leaves in my front yard for Halloween and hide in the leaf pile until trick-or-treaters approach
So I helped remove many leaves and gumballs and sticks that were piled up in part of the yard … that’s the last bit of yard Spring Cleaning that was left and Manfriend can just mow and edge now.
It stuck the piece at the base of a plant, then picked up leaves* to cover it up. Then it walked back to that spot and picked some more but then took off. I've never seen a crow cover up food before. that was really cool!

*I haven't picked up the leaves from fall
If you sign up, come find me under "TekkerTen." We can take a tour, party up for some combat missions, or do some mining and stuff your wallet.
At the lake. Cleaning up leaves. They are not my leaves but I clean them up because they are in my yard. It’s a lot like community service. I am innocent.
You can if the ebook has pages at all. Some of them don't for some reason. So if you've got your kindle or app set up that way, it's either blank or usually randomly set to loc, but just for that book.
omg thanks so much for the wonderful review! i love that you picked up on some of the speculative elements -- it's really hard to categorize poems like these, but i definitely feel some of the poems can be described as dreamy realism or spec-adjacent

You have to make up your mind whether you want me to fuck off or keep up the conversation.
My phone let me copy links for some reason, it's very annoying. But here are some screenshots of articles and I hope you can find them yourself.

Got the last of the winter decor taken down and put away, and started putting up some of the spring stuff. Also made some plans to start cleaning up the garden until to for spring planting fun.
Hey, Banditos! What is your greatest value pick-up? A comic you picked up for a dollar (or less) but was worth much more.
Give me a day or two and I can whip up some recs. Do you care if it’s solo or as part of a group or??
They're digging up the yard across the street as we speak
It's more or less a game of russian roulette; ever 20th house or so ends up with a torn up front yard
