They don't work but if you make a feed with the regex to find # + word, it helps. That and when they do work, it's backfill

I don't know if there are different versions, but I downloaded a chrome add on and once you have it on your toolbar you just open twitter and go to the list of people you are following and it tells you if they are on Bluesky and lets you click to follow them. It really helped me. Good luck!
I feel that, they are or at least can be, scary. I struggle with identifying if and when they're into me.
The block to DM thing is a bit odd, mostly because they shouldn't block you if they're into you.
I really don't do begging. In work relationships or romantic ones. If I'm trying to break into a field and I haven't been able to find clear instructions on what certifications/languages/etc are recommended I might ask the interviewer if they seem knowledgeable. But that's a specific might.

I've seen people use hashtags but idk if they do anything, and they don't seem to do anything if you click on them like Other Platform
You can just click on “following” to see if they follow you back though. If you are on top of the list, they do. No need tor anxiety-inducing red phrases

@jonathenharty.bsky.social If you add #photography or #photoreel to any shots you post they will enter into a photo feed dubbed 'Photoreel' if you first click on the feed to your right and click Save. You can also Pin the feed to your profile.
Also look for feeds for astrophotography.
Hahaha I hear that. I don’t judge their singing if they really love the song they are singing. If they suck but you can tell they love it, I’d rather listen to that than ppl singing something well they don’t connect to
When you say they don't work, what do you mean? What happens when you tap on a feed?
I also recommend trying @graysky.app if you're using Bluesky on a mobile device (it looks like you are).

You can tell how lonely (truly lonely even if there are tons of people around and they have plenty of friends) somebody is by the amount of reels/tiktoks they send you.
And if they don't they either not, or dgaf about you.
