Hell yeah. Birds are the best. Have a family of downy woodpeckers visiting my suet feeder and they are a blast.
Cool! I have downy woodpeckers coming to my suet but not pileated woodpeckers.
And here's the video of my most exciting nature encounter this year. I doubt I'll ever see anything like this again. It was breathtaking.

This was undoubtedly the most exciting nature experience I had this year. Two male Pileated Woodpeckers displaying at each other for over an hour. Circling, fluttering, spreading their wings to make themselves look big. And being completely silent the whole time. What a sight!

The Acorn Woodpeckers have joined the Nuttall’s, Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers at the suet. Now if the Pileated Woodpecker comes back this year, I’ll be a happy birder.
