Exactly! Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences. Further, Freedom of Speech in the USA has limits against incitement to violence and threats.
It really is a fundamental free speech issue and I’m a bit surprised that given all the Free Speech Discourse in the USA there are not more explicit connections to the right to freedom of expression.
