Are you referring to predictive text? Or some other keyboard issue?
The suggested words over the keyboard were just self-selecting as I typed. It made things utterly nonsensical, inserting words inside words and repeating things I’d typed only once. Seems fixed!
this post is brought to you by me. i typed the words on the keyboard and then hit the post button
Predictive software (swipe text) on my phone changes the word “for” into all these other words I never type. Samsung does swipe text (gliding finger over keyboard to form likely words) so much better than Apple
lol you typed those words on some form of a keyboard. Digital or physical it makes no difference. Perhaps you are a keyboard samurai, playing with your netdeck.
Most of the things you have typed are words, that much is clear
17.4 was just inserting random words to the point the keyboard fix made the release notes
The apple “AI” keyboard or whatever is straight ass. Frequently changes correctly typed words to things that are not words, or changes to a word with a different meaning completely. Is this conspiracy to force me to use dictation? Or to text from my fucking laptop? This is a shitty future.
Can I just say that my keyboard keeps on copying the words I’ve just typed and I don’t know why
Keyboard all day every day. Typed words are easier to read later and phone typing is miserable
I use the Apple swipe keyboard and it does some weird and annoying things as does the text entry here which will randomly put me inside of a word I’ve already typed
When this happened to me on android it was because they had made the keyboard about three pixels smaller and I kept selecting the suggested words...
In this text we have a person who typed words into what we call a "keyboard". that keyboard is then processed by the processing chip in a computer, which content then manifests itself as words on a screen. by pressing "reply", the wielder of the keyboard is issuing a command to something we call a b
What keyboard is it? Aside from the battery issue have you liked it? I’m always looking for my next keyboard since I seem to kill them once a year (or shortly after the warranty)
Apple in iOS 17 added inline predictive text for iPhones, but did not include a way to turn it off independently of predictive suggestions above the keyboard. In the latest iOS 17.2 update, that's changed.

www.macrumors.comios 17.2 is out and you can disable “predictive inline text” in the keyboard settings. at the moment it only works for english settings.
One of the most annoying things in life is the fact that o and I are next to each other on the keyboard and the fact that if and of are both words and things you use often. Autocorrect loves to just swap to the other one or miss it entirely.
it just means you've typed that a lot and the keyboard is getting to know you. And your proclivities.

When you write skeets, does the keyboard you use:
1) the keyboard auto capitalizes words and you go back to change them to be lower case
2) you don't use an "automatic keyboard" and it just types letter presses by default which are naturally lower case
3) other
This! It’s pattern matching! Not knowledge!
The keyboard prediction on your phone is based on what words most commonly come after the word you just typed. It doesn’t know what any of it means.
The words themselves - regardless of order or “missing words” were never typed.
You are under oath Tightpussy.
