Really wish there was a food place somewhat between a Costco/IKEA food court but with healthy but not complicated stuff that I could just show up and get a decent meal for not too much. I kinda get tired of fast food places easily nowadays.

I like Mezeh, they're basically a Greek version of Chipotle.
The Mall comes to mind, but you’re right- there really isn’t
I thought Taco Bell was ok, tbh. Like a lot of fast-food places, it’s not really much like the food it’s pretending to approximate, but we felt kind of cool eating there. And that surely counts for something
Would very much recommend the food court that is nearby the main hotel. They have a lot of good food places there (pizza, pasta ton of Asian food too I believe. Lot of stuff)
But elsewhere in the city also plenty of good places to visit ^^ (not just food either, but what can I say. I love food 😋)
yesss! there used to be a really good fried chicken place at the local mall food court and i loved to get their chicken & waffles and wash it down with a Moxie
wish i could have that now but they closed down many years ago
The food was... fine. Not the greatest meal ever, but a definite step up from most of the fast food places nearby and tasty.
...This was all a direct result of me cooking way too much food. With all the leftovers, I haven't really cooked a meal in over 2 weeks. There was a frozen pizza, but that's not really cooking.
midnight pasta is a state of mind, but i'm not there. too much food
Budgeting for the year
I'm maybe gonna get fast food once a month if that
Seriously, fast food is stupid expensive right now.
1 fast food meal costs what I could use to make 3 decent healthy meals at home
There is a small fast food place in Chicago called Roost that easily beats Popeyes, but out of the widely available places I absolutely agree.
You can, or course, pay a couple of grand more to get food that is better, but not even approaching the standard you'd expect in a restaurant at a comparable level, but with hospitals, just like airlines, you're not there for the food.
Hot take, Taco Bell is actually one of the better fast food places.
They have vegetarian options (unfortunately no vegan) and if you get the right things they're not too bad on calories, and at least I like their food.
They tend to be kinda sketch tho, but that's just fast food places.
how do I get mall food court bourbon chicken, but tofu instead of chicken, and instead of having to make something I just have a bottle of glop that I put on the tofu and it tastes like what the mall food court makes.
12 FOOD COURTS IN 12 MONTHS
MAY: China Express at Concord Mall food court in Wilmington, Delaware.
Not much of a food court...hell, not much of a mall anymore...so I got a honey chicken teriyaki meal that wasn't much of a nutritious option. It seemed fitting. And tasty.
Okay look I get the jokes & the debate but the zoning issue is actually my area of expertise and I think their definition of fast food is shit and really the judge could have said "counter service hot food not of a national chain of a certain size is not fast food therefore..." But instead this.
please debate
The judge ruled that tacos and burritos are “Mexican-style sandwiches” after a city denied a taco restaurant a permit to open a location at a shopping center that restricts fast food.
www.washingtonpost.comA lot of independent fast food places basically serve food delivered frozen by Sysco. They're not a franchise operation, but their menus are identical.
I get the criticism of the fries and the lack of options compared to other fast food places, but the burger is one of the best *fast food* burgers there is. Sure you can get better for twice the price at a restaurant but the only fast food burgers I think are comparable are Blake’s and Five Guys.
Imagine wanting Wendy's but driving up and seeing a line, like, "cool. I get to wait for my fast food and pay more for it. Oh well. Too bad there aren't any other places where I could get a burger and fries."
They could get a meal and side dish for one of them with that from a fast food place these days.
Seattle Washington has a history of delivering stuff not just through USPS but that was their biggest customer. (Not food but not necessarily not food)
UPS started there. Package delivery was not really a thing outside the west coast until the 50’s….
I really wish there were decent veggie fast food options outside of Taco Bell
I miss that food festival too. There’s a Greek food festival in Philly, but it’s not the same.
There is a decent place, foodwise at Commercial Bay, but it's a really big top shelf food court like Elliot Stables used to be, and I like my atmosphere to go along with the food.
Eliot Stables has fair shat itself BTW
wish i could just be like "hey i wanna get really high and order a ton of fast food tonight who wants to pay for a stuffing session here's my paypal" (because i do feel in the mood to get really high and eat a whole lot) but i don't have the follower base for that to work
I have not been to a Phillies game, but I went there for All Star weekend when it was there. It's decent imo. Food choices could be better but the stuff they had was fine.
