if it doesnt matter at all why do they want to take it from us
voting doesnt matter. republicans have been doing an active campaign of voter suppression for half a century for absolutely no reason at all beyond kicks

at the very least look what initiatives/amendments are on the ballot in your area. i'm damn sure going to vote to relegalize abortion and legalize nonmedical weed even if I don't mark the ballot for a single person.
yes yes yes. and vote for things like school boards if able
Not sure where to find ballot question 1 to #BringChicagoHome on your ballot?
Look at the bottom of your ballot (if voting in person) or the back of your ballot (if voting by mail) & make sure to VOTE YES to make big corporations pay their fair share to fund affordable housing.
It’s not his job to “earn” your vote.
It’s your job to vote for the best person on the ballot.
If you don’t like it, put better people on the ballot.
If you're in FL, vote to not retain Renatha Francis and Meredith Sasso. "...Francis and Sasso also voted to uphold the state’s restrictions on abortion."
They also opposed ballot initiatives to protect abortion rights and legalize marijuana. (And yes, ofc they're DeSantis appointees.)
Across Arizona and Florida, four justices who voted to uphold abortion bans this month are up for retention—two in each state.
Voters this year are deciding the fate of 82 seats across 33 states’ high courts. Cases involving abortion, democracy, and other critical issues hang in the balance.
boltsmag.orgvote. The question they claim to answer is does an individual state have the right to disqualify a candidate from the ballot? Yes, they do. For that individual state. Why? Because they are responsible to make sure candidates are qualified for the ballot and if not; remove ... 2
if you don't turn in your ballot and vote YES on HLA i will never speak to you again!!!!
Ohio has the chance today to legalize both abortion AND weed on the same ballot.
Yes on Issue 1
Yes on Issue 2
Other states’ ballot initiatives, every year or two: Do you want to SMOKE DRUGS at WORK?
Indiana ballot initiatives, once or twice a decade: Should TEACHERS get PAID? Vote YES if no.
Yes, yes, #NotAllDems vote local, vote down ballot, gotta vote if we want to keep yelling at these people until they step down or pay attention. (Do not yell at me.)
Yes and, will people vote in November for freedom for women to control our bodies and freedom to smoke pot or will they vote against this American style Nazism? if the freedoms were not on the ballot what would the election look like?
If your party is allowing fascism on the ballot they're enabling fascism. I don't care if you put them on the ballot just for us to vote against it.
whether or not you vote for biden please vote in your local elections. the president isn't the most important guy on the ballot (yes really), the most important people are the folks running for state legislatorrX and school boards if you want to protect LBGTAIQ+ youth & pregnant people
So if there's anything on a ballot for you today like school boards or referendums, I hope you take a quick 15, 20 minutes to read up and then go vote if you're able*
Especially in Ohio! Vote to protect people's right to bodily autonomy! (Abortion) 2/?
Reminder for Texans: Vote tomorrow if you didn’t do early voting! 14 state constitutional amendments are on the ballot; plus various local things!
Do it please!
Please vote yes for Prop 14 & show love for our state parks!
Please join us in voting and in bringing out all your friends to vote, even if these are the only races on the ballot for you.
If "take all the money we give to the army and give it to Francis Ford Coppola" was on the ballot, I'd vote for it. I don't even care if he uses it to make a movie, honestly.
If Biden/Trump and Schiff/Garvey is what the ballot looks like in November I don't know what I'm going to do. As it is I don't even remember who I marked the ballot for for POTUS because I maintain a Democratic registration for primaries but there was fucking nothing to vote for.
turnout is going to be low. voters are not currently plugged in. some tiny fraction of californians may decide who our next senator is, probably for life, tonight. we have 12% of the national population and 2% of its senate representation. i do not give a fuck if it costs the democratic party money
If they vote for all the other Dems on the ballot and not Biden (in the swing states especially) it won't matter because Donald Trump wants to murder all of us.
I feel that people should only show up to local elections to legalize weed, but if it's not on the ballot, you should vote for it as a write-in candidate, preferably for something like school board.
bullshit.
A vote for Trump or a non vote is the exact same thing .
Genocide is not on the ballot.
You get it no matter how you vote.
What is on the ballot is fascism. And if you don't vote against it, you vote for it.
I keep saying, if they want abortion, they will vote for democrats up and down the ballot.
We have more than proven ourselves on this. Look at all blue states.
I love voting in LA because the ballot is always 10 pages long and there's at least one state measure that's like "if you vote yes, every public school will be demolished tomorrow, but if you vote no the students will all be sent to the mines"
I didn’t vote for Biden in the primary; left the ballot blank despite that being the only office on the ballot. I don’t want him as my nominee. And if and when he wins the nomination at the convention, I’m going to hold my nose and vote for him in the general. Are you?
So, like, what if more votes for policy were ballot initiatives? Would this be better, or worse? Maybe more people who vote for trash demons who want women to die would *also* vote for pro-abortion initiatives on the same ballot?
Tbh this feels naively optimistic, but I thought it anyway
Its two things really...
Can Dems use abortion to motivate Dem voters to turnout to vote? Probably yes if abortion is on ballot.
Will independent voters be less likely to vote for Trump if they are reminded about Dobbs? That is where I think the strategy falls short.
