i deleted around 300 photos of beers today then recovered them
we acquired this one from our inlaws. it's been repotted a couple of times, the most recent time was two years ago it's just exploded since then. 2-3 blooms in succession this year.
we replanted some smaller parts of it which flowered for the first time a couple of days ago
ah, discogs shows a single on Infinity Cat (which i haven't heard)
they were on Burger, Mint, Lollipop. didn't stick with one or two labels.

Always liked them. Have a couple copies of the first LP (which Basquiat did the artwork for). Picked up in the early ebay days before prices went though the roof. It has since been reissues but still not an inexpensive record.

anyway, somebody i went to school with was sent a cassette of stuff from a relative in L.A.
Surf Punks, "kinko the clown", oingo boingo, etc. i think everyone in middle school had a dub of that cassette.

odd factoid: one of the main surf punk guys' brother played with captain and tennille.
when i was in middle school the rumor was the surf punks were scions from the captain and tennille and the captain of the love boat (separately). the reality isn't quite that wild.
