"No son mine date uppity elf!"
"But Dad, me love her!"
"Look, you make Mama sad!"
*cut to mother bawling as she leaps onto a caravan of raiders, twin greatswords in each hand, and tears through their armored warriors like tinfoil*
"Where me go wro-o-o-oong😭??"
"It like me wear nothing at all! Nothing at all... Nothing at all..."
"Stupid sexy orc."
If you'd fudged the date a little I honestly would've thought this was an Ennis-written issue I'd simply missed.
If you haven't had a chance to check it out, I'd head over to Channel Awesome on YouTube and go through Walter Banasiak's Twilight-tober Zone rundown of every episode, they're covered with so much care and tons of in-depth research, a worthwhile viewing! youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Korra: "G-g-golly, Asami! Kuvira wants to fight me a-a-after school? B-but I've got chess practice until 4pm and then math bending 🤓!" *takes a drag from her inhaler*
Asami (to herself, swooning): "OMG, she's so CUTE 😍!"
I want to see the Lower Decks version of this crew now...

media.tenor.comWhy did they never put rings on unicorn horns in MLP? It seems like such a logical option since fingers weren't in the picture.
I mean... LOCK HER UP was pretty much his campaign slogan. How is it even possible he'd think that could be swept under the rug?
I don't remember the series name, but I loved that one with the ridable insect that worked as a hand puppet! (my fave was the tarantula the villain rode)
Dude, I have three kids, a wife, and two in-laws I have to haul around in one vehicle. Trust me, cramming them plus a stroller into my old Scion TC wasn't a feasible option. Let's not just assume everyone with a big vehicle's a red-hat beer guzzling asshole, hm? Also, it's a hybrid.
Should've labeled it "a single human hair under an electron microscope" and posted it on a hyper-religious website, then waited for the deluge of panicked responses.
"Once they had breathed our air, germs, which no longer affect us, began to kill them. The end came swiftly. All over the world, their machines began to stop and fall."
I mean, sure, we know that absolutely no questions will be answered and no one watching will change their opinions on who should be president, but sure, let's have a "debate" in the same spirit as a Jerry Springer "who's the daddy" episode.
They covered his actual origin (including his real name and his biological family) in Wolverine: Origin (2001)
While I'm sure inking him was a pain in the ass, Neurospear's psychic form looks like it was fun to draw. All those wild tendrils and looming terror.
Just tried it: In an unironic interpretation the focus would likely be on the virtues of military service, duty & sacrifice for the greater good of society. Narrative would emphasize the importance of defending one's homeland against existential threats such as alien arachnids in the original story.
At this point in my life I have no debt (besides a mortgage) and I never live paycheck to paycheck anymore. And yet I'm far more liberal than in my youth, which I honestly attribute to a better understanding of the world brought from age and experience.
Last panel -- Pinocchio (grimly): "Now I've got no strings to hold me down." (loading a shotgun with one hand) *CHIK-CHAK*
Whether or not the parents are married, any children born will still have a mother and father, unless they're torn from the thigh of Zeus like Dionysus.
Here I was hoping for the hopeful future of Star Trek, and instead we're stuck with the shitty future of The Handmaid's Tale.
If you see this, post a robot.
"Pardon me, sir, I'd like to see the banana hammocks. Extra snug, plz."
I honestly wonder if Detect Evil would work on her. I mean, does she THINK she's evil?
Bluesky's open, quote one art to promote yourself! ✨ #art (an oldie, but one of my fave pieces from back in my #EverQuest days🤩)
Happy birthday to @thedansome.bsky.social today! Always a big fan of his colorful, whimsical fantasy art, this is one of my favorite pieces of his, starring the lovable mistress of mayhem herself Dahlia Scratch!
Dahlia and the party confront some cultists that they are way too over-leveled to deal with

Grant Morrison's "All-Star Superman" will always encapsulate the perfection of Superman to me: all that power but with humility, love, and courage.
Isn't this limited to that character's particular iteration at the time of the expiration? Like Superman won't have his current S-shield, it'll be the old-timey one. And he won't have heat vision or most of his powers, those are more modern takes. And Batman will have purple gloves and shoot people.
I'm remodeling my house and live under a local airport path, I'm disappointed I can't buy the whole sign and stick it on my roof 😒
