Are those some of the Beasts of the Mesozoic ceratopsians? They look great!
It was a breath of fresh air until that point. The MCU has generally worked best when it's taken other film genres and just added in a superhero. Shang-chi was a martial arts flick up to that point. And it didn't even need apocalyptic stakes! The conflict between father and son was more compelling!
I also wonder if the shrew is present because my neighbor's outdoor cat has been gone for a while. The shrew clearly was at home; it had some burrows. Unfortunately, I had to turn over the soil to plant the flowers and that ruined the burrows.
Working on planting wildflowers in my garden and I startled a shrew. I hope it comes back. It's welcome to eat all the slugs, beetles, and mice it wants. I wonder if the shrew is why I haven't seen any toads around in that area; one has been setting up shop there for a few years.
There's the TNG episode with a whole bunch of Enterprises together from different timelines so I think that points to many worlds
Love springtail! Dang stone centipedes ate mine in my snake terraria.
Poor Kurn deserved better! Tony Todd was great and stole his scenes in TNG.
Stone centipedes got into my snake terraria and ate all the springtails!
I could buy that. I bet he had seen some big, dangerous ones. Those suckers can move.
That's lucky! Normally I have to crane my neck to see them. I did see them on a nest this year for the very first time. It was so tiny!
Great pictures! I think the third is a Eurasian Tree Sparrow (black chin doesn't extend into breast, dark spot on cheek, no gray on cap).
King & Queen of the Ring was a fun show. Really thought Orton was going to tap there, for a minute.
Heard and then saw a Pileated Woodpecker this morning. They always bring a smile to my face.
Lower Decks has been the closest we've gotten. It's the right time period at least.
Ugh. I've battled it for a few years. If it helps, it has gotten easier every year since I've stayed on top of it. Now to get rid of the mugwort...
I wish that confrontation had been Crusher telling Picard off. And why didn't they try replicating guns; it's not clear the Borg shields adapted to physical attacks. At any rate, I agree with your larger point. That one TNG episode with the thawed 20th century humans was too preachy.
I've been getting Bay-breasted in my neighborhood this past week, according to Merlin. But I couldn't spot them. I really wanted to; it would have been a lifer.
Love watching them dive! A bird that size shouldn't be that graceful!
It's hard to think what these six have in common but don't share with a Nashville and similar boreal breeders. Most are in the genus Setophaga, but not all. Maybe they all have a strong preference for spruces?
My favorite regular visitor to my feeders! I have an upside down suet feeder so I get to see the red belly.
#TenMinMerlin Hearing migratory warblers again: Bay-breasted, Blackpoll, Black-throated Green. Also a Kentucky but I've been hearing it for over a week. Seems unlikely to stick around but who knows? Unfortunately with how leafy the trees are now I couldn't see any.
