May your psyche be utterly decimated in a way far more engaging than garlic farts could hope to achieve. I hope you bawl like a frightened puppy seeking momma's womb only to be thrown into the arctic chill of someone's bitter dominance.
Some people are wild beings who want their legs crushed by 500 pound rocks, but cower before 30 seconds of gas fumes. And that's okay. It breaks the immersion of the character they seek to portray, but people are complex beings with intricate neurological pathways and experiences: not fantasy dolls.
If it's an emergency, talk to your professional and/or look into mental hospitals on your own. Yeah, it might be intimidating, but they can help you fix emotional irregularities and possibly situational problems (i.e. not having stable housing).
