Yes. It may be scary, but the only way to find those people who love your stories like you do is to make them.
We put a baby gate up to prevent our deaf cat from going out the cat flap at night, when we can't keep a loose track of him. (He can't jump up far. Doesn't have the balance.) And the others are very similar to this. They just won't go out while it's shut.
If you get food, everyone should get food. That's the rule. Our cat's are like that. If you're making any kind of food, at least 1 will appear behind you expectantly.
Happy birthday! 🎉🎂 Here's to all the years you could possibly have with your wife! 🍷
Art is great for US, but you know, being able to think straight is great for YOU.
I think some of it is about where you go, like how culturally diverse the basis for the local food is. Some places you can still go and 9/10 meals are just some combo of meat and potato. For the most part though, it's got a pretty solid combo and they've improved a lot on the basics over the years.
The desire sensor works both ways. Today it has detected that you desire NO dicks, and thus it has delivered you ALL OF the dicks.
Real life is important! People will just have to wait.
They have comprehended the world in 1 more dimension than he has, and they think it's hilarious.
*Sound of air escaping a balloon, but louder and longer*
A real "always read the fine print" moment.
Of all the countries to be subjected to a patdown... that's got to be one of the worst...
The word "walk," like passing by an undercover assassin and using the code.
I like a good romance, but I also like friends of different sexes, including all the awkward "what if we were more?" moments that never result in anything because it's nice to see men and women just be friends sometimes. Also siblings are always interesting, since sibling dynamics are so varied.
Same for me. There's not really anyone locally.
I think a lot of it is simply that they have that option all along, so they don't feel that it's weird for them. Just a side effect of their environment, more than any particular motivation or morals.
The strangest thing to me, seeing my grandmother at the height of her dementia, was seeing her smile so much more than I ever had before it set in. Talking about happy memories from 50 years prior as though they'd just occurred. She was always such a grumpy woman. Dementia is a weird thing.
I've never been much of a TV kind of guy, and especially not for shows which are generally declared amazing, but House even got to me eventually. Didn't watch it all, (because not a TV guy) but watched a good few seasons. Some things really are just a good watch.
Usually when someone hits this point, it means you need to stop looking online so much because it encourages you to compare yourself to others and be excessively critical of your own work. Maybe a little time offline to yourself would help?
Yeah, when you plan so far ahead, you give yourself the freedom to adjust things as you come closer to them, which is great.
I really need to catch up on Discovery. I'm like 3 seasons behind at this point.
Same, but rather than "what if today is that 25%?" I think "it'll be worth it," and... sometimes I still feel that way afterwards.
You could also do both (eventually) and get a DOUBLE bingo
I think once you're near the end, you're just focused on "getting it done" more than anything, so this makes sense.
That's what we call "aging gracefully," something I am highly jealous of.
Right? Hand a Japanese mangaka your business card and it just says "oonoreno", and they're like "Ah, you're from Oonoreno" and you have to apologetically say "N-No... sorry, it's meant to say 'Kana'"
Oh no... I'm in too deep.
Well, I hope you can figure out the problem! I think mine is already figured out, and not fixable. 🥺
Hey lemme just post this. I feel like an imposter a lot in my life, so I wanted to share the positive reinforcement I scribbled in my notebook.
Wear a badge that says "I'm not a cat thief. I just like petting them."
I am asking if the text is an MGS reference, not because I think it should be, but because I am hoping it is so that I don't feel like my brain rot has ruined my life as badly.
Sometimes you just gotta do what it feels like you should do in the moment! Probably!
The worst part is, this isn't even the most egregious misuse of Japanese that I've seen in recent years. Though I forgot its name, I saw a coffee house had used Japanese logographs to "write" an entire logo and slogan in English and it was not only hell to read, but the actual Japanese was nonsense.
Pretty sure people follow you because they want to see more of exactly that!
I remember how pen ink tasted when I'd accidentally chew my pen too much at school. I am okay with not drinking the forbidden fruit juice.
They came out great! Doodles really make my day for some reason.
