1] You're accepting Hamas' figures as gospel.
2] How do you know how many are civilians? Hamas never reveals how many of its terrorists have been killed.
3] Hamas could come out into the open and fight, rather than sheltering behind civilians.
4] Hamas could surrender and end the war now.
There is no genocide, just a war. After nearly seven months of fighting, Palestinian losses are around 35K out of a population of over 2 million. At that rate, the war would have to last for over 30 years to kill every Gazan.

Hamas governed *the whole of the Gaza Strip* until they started the current war on Israel on 7 October 2023. Now, they only govern parts because they've been displaced/destroyed in the others.
