Just this coyote, you know?
He/Him/Good Boy.

Are you gonna eat that?

I think they should keep it invite only just give out tons. With the rule that if you invite a bunch of shitheads who get themselves banned, you’ll be suspended until someone invites you back.
Of course that will mean you are under them, and your or your future invitees bad behavior dings them too.
Now I’m not talking about propagating negative rep scores for blocks and mutes. Not a big fan of Twitter-style shadowbanning or “social credit” schemes. I’m talking about large numbers of invitees (or a mass-inviter) getting reported and bonked for hate speech, scams, spam, etc… that’s a bad actor!
Was it meant to be a parody?

I’ve seen the ISIL flag with the writing made from dildos flown at pride.
I never see these results. I’m not sure if they are ads on Google or what, but adblockers must remove them.
You might lose more than followers. BlueSky is pretty strict with moderation against what they consider antisocial behavior. Wishing for/celebrating harm coming to anyone is in that category. Someone got bonked the other day for hoping Elon croaked.
As always the truth is somewhere in the middle. Hate speech is free speech in the US. Hate crimes are not, but inconsistently prosecuted, esp. when it’s one of their own.
It’s a shit system, but If you attack someone who isn’t breaking the law, you’re in the wrong even if you’re morally in the right
…which sucks, but it’s still a noble option if the law doesn’t make them afraid and you’re willing to maybe face those charges.
If bluesky is smart they’ll shut down any discourse about this under the “anti-social behavior” rule that disallows both intolerance and advocating violence.
Every decent person knows racists should be afraid. If not of the law, then by being outnumbered. If not by being outnumbered, then by people willing to personally make them afraid.
But this discourse draws out everyone who wants to debate that and you realize just how many are not decent people.
One of mine is a longer-haired tabby and while I doubt there is much if any MC/NF in him, he has the most ridiculously affectionate puppycat follow-you-around causing chaos personality so… maybe? He’s so different from the other three.
“Oh you mean I’m going to break a leg doing something stupid or just drop dead from colic? Grrrrreeeeeaaatt…”
Uh yeah that’s 3D printed. Never ever insert a 3D printed toy. You’ll never get it fully clean and there’s no guarantee it won’t shed microplastics. In fact it is almost guaranteed to.
Also keep in mind if you see something gross in Discover, it is because someone you follow is interacting with them… same as Twitter’s “For You” before they started messing with the algorithms.
Slight correction: Bluesky is not currently decentralized. Right now bsky.social is the only instance, despite you being able to use a different domain for your handle. This or any future instance could become biased in how they promote posts, but it would only affect that instance’s users.
I had to comment on the OP.
“Wow, I remember seeing those 20 years ago in biology class. We didn’t have mRNA vaccines yet. I just sucked at slide prep.”
Yep. That’s it. I turned that off on the web and I could apply on iOS telegram.
Yes! AirPod Pros do Spatial Audio on Atmos albums and it’s incredible.
Faolan admits to using AI but if you’re ever suspicious, this tool uses AI to do a pretty good job of detecting generated images.

huggingface.coJust FYI, do not take any higher probability of “artificial” as indicating an image is AI. I’ve seen plenty of digital art I know is not AI give a 60/40 probability. 80 or higher is what you’re looking for.
As you might expect, AI is very good at detecting the output of AI. This one seems to be the most accurate. I’ve caught a few artists taking commissions that pop well over 90% on this tool.
They don’t know how to text, so they try to call, hit video call by accident, and roll with it.

What is an obvious 4chan prank that got taken seriously by transphobes?
Where I live, vets and shelters always refer to lost animals as “they/them” and ensure you can’t tell the sex from the photos they post. Reason being people try to falsely claim them all the time, so “male or female” is the first thing they ask. A liar has a 50% chance of getting it wrong.

Yeah, one of mine is notorious for eating weird shit in the yard (like random weeds) and then not eating for a day or so.
He always get his appetite back after he leaves whatever disagreed with him all over the basement floor.
The article seems to suggest it has contaminated the public water supply. Which means it can end up in your food or drink. You could even get it from washing your hands!
Cryptosporidium is tough, it survives in a chlorinated pool.
In true Brexit fashion they are blaming everyone else. Sky is hinting at the water supply in the EU, specifically Spain, being the source.
Which may even be true, but if what comes out doesn’t get removed in UK wastewater treatment, it’s going to find its way back in.
And it’s gone. I reported it, went back to check if it was still up, and it’s not.
There’s a brain-rot cycle at work here and humans, not AI, is the reason for it.
Somebody asked ChatGPT a variant of that phrase, and it gave a total brain-rot answer. Everyone started talking about it and linking to it, which caused Google to rank it higher in results for that phrase or similar.
We used to do it on purpose and called it Googlebombing. I remember back in 2001 you could google “miserable failure” and the top result was the official biography of George W. Bush.
It was done by having hundreds of pages add a link the text “miserable failure” to the White House’s page.
