Just this coyote, you know?
He/Him/Good Boy.
Old enough (to be your dad…)
Are you gonna eat that?
(🔞 if you have the explicit filter off.)
Columbia U is private property. Their justification for removing the encampment can be that it is unsightly.
This is the kind of thing that needs to be done at public universities, where 1A applies, and Kent State is an example of how NOT to handle a large protest.
My question is more “how” than “why” if they’re smuggling them.
Those don’t exactly fit in your pants.
If someone is replying to you with unwanted stuff, then yeah, block.
Wouldn’t that be just about any Bluetooth gamepad or controller from the current generation of consoles? Something a lot of people already have.
I grab a joycon off my Switch and pair it to my iPad or Apple TV all the time.
It is getting attention, which is good, but the protestors have no 1A right to be there and the law is not on their side.
Right idea, wrong place. Do these kind of protest encampments at big public schools.
People are comparing the protests at Columbia (and now Yale) to Kent State, but Kent was a first amendment issue even before it turned violent.
Columbia and Yale are private universities. They don’t have to allow protesting at all. They can trespass students and remove encampments for any reason…

Maybe if we see protests suppressed by force at public schools like Kent Stare. Columbia and Yale are private. They don’t have to allow any protesting at all and can remove an encampment for any reason.

Not to mention individual blocks are public knowledge and have already become targeting material via things like clearsky.app. People do deep dives into who has blocked who, and pass judgement based on it:
“Oh, you’re not blocking this known fascist? So-and-so has you blocked? You must be one too!”
People use block as mute here, which personally bugs me because the idea of a block is so someone can’t see or interact with you, not so you don’t see them.
I mute a lot of accounts I don’t want to see, but I only block for truly offensive things.
Which is what they did. They were searching for vegan recipes and your commentary came up.
If anything, blame the lack of an algorithm here.
I just had to dig into this… allegedly you ranted against veganism? In any case, that is what they said.
It’s the light rail coyote!

That was a *thing* and you could get adapters to record PCM audio data or back up your PC using a VCR.
On the pro audio side, Sony U-Matic tapes were used for CD mastering. The sample rate of 44.1k was chosen because 74 minutes of audio wouldn’t fit on a tape at the 48k they wanted to use.
“When Nature Calls” was a short-lived series hilariously narrated by Helen Mirren.
Long-term rental of houses, while not great are probably ok by zoning laws. Tho you might need a permit/business license and should be inspected like apartment buildings are.
But operating an AirBnB, in other words a hotel, in a residential zone? Nope. Can’t do that.
Even better: get them on zoning. That’s commercial use and you can’t do it in an area zoned for residential only.
Well then you go the inspection and code enforcement route.
Doubt many Airbnb owners are doing what legit hotels have to do.
Maybe that’s the solution to the AirBNB plague: make the insurance premiums so damn high for short-term rental use it becomes unprofitable to do it.
Require the kind of insurance a hotel has if you want to run a hotel.
That seems more like a weird Nigerian organized crime thing than a racial thing happening to African people in general.
Easy solution to that is a law saying you have to own the building, at least for residential rentals.
That won’t get rid of all rental properties but it will stop that kind of thing.
UK didn’t have an entire race as second class citizens, so they just used poor kids, right?
We could maybe do the Finnish plan if we converted some mostly-vacant office buildings. But that is a big maybe, and we couldn’t do it everywhere, only in larger cities
People do not understand how big and in many places sparsely populated the US is.
Where are Wakko, Yakko, and Dot? They know how to handle this kind of thing.
Agreed. But if you even suggested the guy who self-immolated protesting Gaza might have needed help, you got labeled as Zionist scum.
A floor-hinged pedal is not unique to the Cybertruck. A lot of carmakers use them. But none of them seem to have this problem because the pedal is either one piece or the footplate is better secured. It seems Tesla’s design allows the plate to slide but stay attached.
Not just because of the interior trim… the entire pedal design.
There is a metal footplate that is coming unglued from the actual pedal and sliding upwards. Because the pedal is hinged on the floor, not the dash, this extends the lever and it gets stuck under a trim piece.
Funny story, we once had our greyhound Dakota Jones and an adoptable German shepherd (we volunteer for a local rescue) at an event.
Little girl comes up and asks very nicely if she can pet the sheppity. Of course she could.
Then she points right at Dakota and says “what’s that?”
Targeting a refugee camp.
Questionable tactics aside, how is this in any way a justifiable military target?
The quoted post is appearing strangely. Post and replies are still visible but "Deleted Post" is appearing at the bottom. May have been deleted but still cached somewhere, so take this as unreliable info until confirmed by a source other than Hill or Middle East Eye (the site screenshotted here.)
If they were targeting combatants, it would be one thing but they are allegedly luring and shooting civilians. There is no way that is not a war crime.
Oh please. They’re *so* majestic they have to hold their tail in their mouth or they’ll trip over it.
That harassment campaign is the entire reason why people with undiagnosed/untreated delusions believe they are targets of gangstalking.
Chris Chan might be the only person who is actually being gangstalked.
Are the bad things you mention the norm now among younger people?
I mean, I’ve had experiences with all kinds of people, all genders, and very rarely have I felt “disposable”. Even the semi-anonymous/group stuff has been friendly and snuggly afterwards. But I’m 44, so some of it was 20 years ago.
If I was in the crowd I’d end up dismissed. I don’t think I could be in the same room as the man without laughing.

That belief was literally a Russian disinfo op.
Maybe still is.
