Breaking the chain of not updating to talk about what I've been working on. As the absence of Poppin & Jupa here can tell, I switched projects back in April, to an older one I worked on for about 8 m…
www.tumblr.comWanted to test out drawing Tiera with her tail sticking out, considering making it a regular part of her design. What do you think?
I know I come off as pretty boring, I don't like trying to pitch something I made or think as "the best", in part cause I it's draining to feign that enthusiasm, and also I feel like it's just shallow. But I acknowledge it'll hurt stuff like exposure and marketing.
When you're constantly seeing every game or clip get talked about the "Best/Worst ever example of [x]" inevitably you're going to see contradictions. You're going to dig in and see that people either ignore or misremember facts on things, you notice a cultural pattern based around specific opinions.
A major thing that's tiring after the internet switched over to focusing on content streams, is that people are constantly over-selling everything. I used to ignore it cause I always thought of it as people being excited/enthusiastic, but reflecting on it, I think have a negative impact overtime.
I was describing it to someone and they asked "is the Poppin's overalls guy" and I had to tell them. those are two different people that specifically fixate a character of mine wearing overalls
uncomfortably simpy is like, sending DMs every other day, half of which are blatantly-obvious fetish related topics

I do know people that like it for that reason, it's very wacky!! I stopped at the first fortress stages cause I didn't want to deal with the spike walls and just didn't care at that point anymore.
It's funny how Discord reflects my current fixation on the Smiling Critters.
I like to write little fake dialogue scenes a lot.
I guess in that sense, it's more clear how to fix a broken thing ("these minigames are too strict"), than to think about adding something that's fundamentally missing which could be *anything* ("maybe this needs another mechanic").
To clarify a bit, I'd say I "get someone out of it" by now knowing what it is and that it's not for me. Either experience I can choose to think about as a game dev on what I would fix to make it better if I really wanted but the difference is "something is missing" versus "something is broken"
If I'm invested enough to check something out to begin with, than boredom is the result of my interest running out and moving on. A negative response is something where it sticks with me in a way I'd rather it didn't, where I have to vent now.
I've heard people say it's better to be frustrated with a game than bored, but I think that only extends to how much a person remembers an experience. Boredom is more of an apathetic, neutral response, while frustration is a negative one that I'd heavily weigh against positive aspects.
Glad you like him, however this is fanart of a character from an indie horror game. You can see them here poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/CatNap
Make sure you hide under the table so you can surprise people passing by!
(taps into my mental powers to read into Inky's mind palace, revealing his innermost desire to invent a sport called "FoodBall")
Razz!!! that's so cool and fun, thank you for taking my silly razzquest
this is an animation of me smelling two sodas to figure out which one is regular and which one is diet
me and my friend would be so happy if some thing I did showed up in a gametoon's video
Those noisy cats are fighting again!!
I liked the Doise's boss theme from the Pizza Tower update and I'm still on a Smiling Critter kick. The orange one is from twitter artist Eggritos
This has been the case online forever, before it was twitter, tumblr, earliest I saw was on 4chan. At best it's people celebrating something that made them laugh with something else they like; at worst it's desperately milking jokes/trends for what they're worth for likes/actual money.
