Whtwnd Dev's blog for Bryan was very detailed discussing the jankyness
Oh God. One of my PI filled every part of the slide with text... It was a miracle to ever see an empty slide.

We didn't have PhD regalia for us, college asks for wearing white kurta pajama.
I decided not to go for rhe ceremony because 1. Best friend's wedding was the same day. 2. Mudixi was giving out degree and I couldn't accept it from him.
I definitely don't agree on the 1000 character option on bsky, but I would love to see long posts from @whtwnd.com appear on the feed and feel more native like rather than the current card similar to other websites.
(I think it's a mixed bag on the character length and someone will always hate it)
So a lot of people just quote it... But then there's no in-app way to climb up the quote stairs either.
I think the short threads are mainly because
1. The process for thread you pointed above, and a pain.
2. People can switch off replies on timeline, so it doesn't show.
3. The reply threads can be a little wonky for many.
Wouldn't an account tag be the least friction?
But I guess you'll get a better idea when you try to code the process.
This would be so good!
Maybe a bot we could message to and ask it to set a label?

Ya. Everything else I tried couldn't even see files... Let's see how this single file type attempt goes...
I can't really afford to pay anyone for recovery... But I see a lot of the exported art work is saved in those 30gb...
All my old art work open files were on this :(
also all the recently designed cross stitch patterns, equally stuck/lost
Foremost manages to save about 30GB and then crashes....
arghhhh...
I guess time to try one file type at a time and see if it works

So the image I got from the hard drive was still RAW, so I couldn't just mount it and see the files...
But found Foremost data recovery tool (Kali linux) that pulls files off any img, and it's doing the work.
Sadly it's not replicating path, but at least 1 GB of files are not lost.
funnily both the definitions are part of my resonance :P

Yeah. I do want to move to bigger designs for day runners etc... And also embroidery at some point... ๐
Funnily if I have the spoons to make warm drink, I would just make some coffee.
I should try to stock some peppermint tea.
Dang
One of my external hard-disk did a kaboom too this week.
Hope your pc could be easily fixed.

Ask @bossett.social for help. Saw him help others on the timeline
Can it just be ๐ธ
(Although I'm waiting to be able to follow more labelers)
Yeah
I prefer it for most web stuff, specially with all the text stuff in general
I could never get into outlook
I'm quite happy that Thunderbird finally decided to have a glow up
Yeah. That's the best option
(For them it would cut the pirated copies too)
I just use the basic ones they have, I suppose you could go further and make your own keybindings for each site

Yeah I think Microsoft doesn't care about windows as much and realises the advantage of capturing the cloud service market.
