Rich people truly do live differently from the rest of us poor peasants 😩
I’m sure next, Ted’s going to elaborate on how nothing beats the sensation of taking a shit in a flying car shaped like a giant bug 🙄
Of course we do, in every facet & industry. It’s human nature to do so. And yes, pop music is basically whatever’s popular at that specific point in time. I don’t deny that. My point, again, is that musicians back then had a more tolerant & diverse atmosphere and attitude towards it, compared to now

…whereas in the past, labels were more tolerant of experimentation & sounding different than everyone else provided it proved profitable.
Certainly not these days, again where the emphasis placed by labels is to pump out homogenized content. Yes, artists have historically had to fight said labels for their creative freedom. Absolutely agreed that’s nothing new. But now more than ever, carbon copy sameness is the current climate…
MY point, is that most musicians now aren’t encouraged to sound different, as most labels want everyone to pretty much sound the same.
I’m pretty sure history agrees with me. For example, David Bowie wasn’t seen as a massive success until his 80’s output, yet he was allowed freedom by his label to experiment. Pink Floyd wasn’t considered successful until Dark Side of the Moon, yet their label allowed them freedom.
Sure, but nowhere near the level it is now. You still had plenty of musicians allowed the freedom to be different and experimental, not so much now.
Pluto Tv IS modern cable. It’s definitely a treasure trove of untapped riches.
Never heard this song before until today, so thanks for sharing. Definitely sounds like a song you’d play at the end of a movie with a fucked up ending that makes you seriously question what the fuck you just watched.
I mean don’t they by now? I know they were headed that way when I stopped playing them.
I honestly never knew this existed until today. Probably wouldn’t have eaten it though because there wasn’t any marshmallows included.
Yup! I used to have that one. Didn’t find out until years later about it being a reused molded figure.
Naw I’m pretty sure the majority of music made these days is two packs of ass. I’m not saying there aren’t exceptions, because I know there is, but considering how much most mainstream music is intentionally homogenized these days, I don’t fault the general consensus of apathy.
And this is why it’s not recommended to wake up in the middle of your colonoscopy 😳
