until we get clarification my way of squaring the possible existence of Ortolans with 4 limbs is to just assume that Max Rebo has been a disabled character this entire time
popping over one of the kids from Skeleton Crew apparently being from Max Rebo's species
Legion (Audio) - Liked it but I was surprised by how unlike The Exorcist this was. Kinderman continues to be a really fun character and slipped into the lead role like a glove. Liked how small this was too despite being the threat being escalated, without abandoning its themes
So far, Ultimate Black Panther has just been *okay*, just an MCUesque take on Hudlin, BUT the last page reveal of issue #3 has me hoping that was all preamble and it'll get more out there from here.
I don't read Boom as anti-religion or even anti-christian, I do read it as Moffat saying the Church of England is for losers though
not to sound reductive and crass but it's so cool that they found an Anti-Tom King
on top of Camp being a great writer, I am VERY intrigued by the very idea of someone who has been elbow deep inside one of the gaping wounds created by the policies and actions of the West writing the big thematic follow up to Millar's Ultimates
awww seems like half the folks I want to meet arent going. ah well theres always brolympus
my new tinfoil hat theory is that you can track the reshoots in Discovery season 5 by how well Rhys' uniforms fit him
really into the set up for the finale of Discovery. I wasnt sure about l'ak and moll at first but theyve really won me over as characters
another day off and opportunity to play ff16 and instead i really just wanna replay the olimar section of pikmin 4
Coppola's propping up of Salva is evil for the love of the game. Oda has been propping up his pedophile buddy for ages too but even he hasn't taken the next step to directly bankrolling him
What is it with the Kennedy family and brain stuff? If they're not getting brain tumors or brain worms, they're lobotomizing their children or getting shot in the head.
I like Jack Rackam a bunch, good production values, pretty informative and kinda funny but goddamn every time we talks about anything from the last 100 years is the most embarassing neolib tripe
Sucks that the only guy from the bridge crew on Discovery still around are Rhys and Linus. All these dramatic pans would hit harder if it were people who have been at those stations all series, even if they were underdeveloped, as opposed to brand new people
I like that Discovery has made the Breen a society where people tap their staffs on the ground rhythmically in unison when something important is happening. That's always fun
yeah those didnt grab me. gave them a shot but it didnt flow. if they had the team who did the new PoP give those another whirl thatd be sick though
also a Shao Jun game would allow them to bring back Ezio, which you'd think would appeal to a company as desperate as Ubisoft
You can tell my brain has completely rotted away because the thing that upsets me about the new Assassin's Creed game is that it's set in Japan and not China because China is probably the most important setting in the lore and it hasn't had a game yet
Credit on enough eps that I think losing him will be a blow just from an organizational standpoint BUT this is irrelevant to me if he actually is a malignant enough presence on the team
One thing I'll miss about the Krakoa Era is these huge world ending villains just being guys who hang around.
Every scene with Apocalypse of all characters mothering Richter was gold.
finally got a legacy knock out because the box set with breakdown is coming out next month and huh, somehow did not know this guy was a studio jazz retool
still think about how they gave the lead in Assassin's Creed Valhalla a girl's name because the female choice was the canon choice but they still put the male choice on the box set because americans dont know what names are which genders in scandinavian languages
there's still the issue of Stryfe but that's a problem for another day lmao
like, yeah, they changed a lot but it's wild that instead of having to bust out a spreadsheet for an explanation that makes me come off like a crazy person there is now a half hour cartoon I can just have someone watch and go 'and that's essentially the gist of it'
favorite bit of streamlining in X-Men '97 is that they actually made Cable's origin story coherent and easily digestible to the uninitiated
X-Men '97 season 1 - This turning out good is probably gonna be my biggest surprise of the year, 'cause goddamn was this a BLAST. I have some big issues but the good far outweigh them. I have a lot of respect for how well constructed this was while having good character work too
wild to find out that Donny Cates was gonna be the architect of the new ultimate universe but hickman was brought in because of cates' near fatal car crash. Hell of a what if there
also explains why Hickman is sticking to USM and not handling the big picture stuff
amusing to me to think that American Sign Language is apparently far closer to French Sign Language than it is to British Sign Language
Donkey Kong 64 (Tag Anywhere Mod) - Cut out the need to backtrack to a barrel and honestly this is probably the most fun I've had with this game. Does kinda highlight how bullshit the game design is but eh, it scratched an itch. Was also fun to try out retroachievements for it
Ticks - Eh, this movie was much too boring to have an ending set piece as crazy as this one did. Some very good creatures effects supporting a lot of nothing, most of my enjoyment aside from them was in my confusion in seeing Green & Ribeiro before either got famous.
Do you think that 4Kids had any idea that they made one of the gayest scenes in all anime?

Just decided to put this up for old times. I love the series and the song is great but the song with the video makes it a whole lot better

It's a portal of MADNESS

For several years I have tried to resist making a video essay about the ending to Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen's Two and a Half Men. I have now failed. patr...

Got bored and watched a video essay on the finale of Two and a Half Men that popped up on my feed and Jesus christ how had I never heard of this.
What the actual fuvk I felt like I was having a stroke even hearing about it secondhand
Also why was Arnold Schwarzenegger in it??
We now live in a world where Superman 64 will have ray tracing
It just now hit me that the ELS from Gundam 00 is a play on the english word 'Else'
one of the many good things about New Vegas is how the people in the Legion correctly pronounce the Vs in Latin as Ws, thus making them sound fucking stupid whenever they say latin words with Vs in them
the reveal of what the title 'Space Babies' means caught me so off guard I spent like 20 seconds laughing at the show. Doctor Who is back
Cade: The Tortured Crossing - I genuinely had no idea what was going on at any point. Middle hump is the worst stretch of any Neil Breen movie but the start and climax had enough scenes that reminded me of why I watch these in the first place. The dance off in particular.
Somewhere an Apple marketing guy is crying and explaining to his boss that he thought kids loved hydraulic press videos
Was about to describe something as 'the gay Enemy Mine' but then I remembered that Enemy Mine literally has mpreg in it
