This WNBA player, Angel Reese, is 6’3”.
I’m sure ESPN asked this reporter to cover the WNBA draft knowing she’d make every single player look even taller.
There was a 6’7” player earlier and the reporter’s face was half hidden behind the lower third.
Strawberry Downeast is REALLY good. Will make a good summer drink. I’m going to seek out more!

Are you kidding? I’ll staff until at least my son starts staffing. Gotta keep a Delahanty at the con. 😅
When I saw there was a TED Talk for wiping ones hands with one single sheet of public restroom paper towels by shaking your hands in the sink 12 times first…I knew it had jumped the shark.
As I wear a Rancho Obi-Wan shirt today, I wonder if Steve Sansweet thinks there’s such a thing as overmerched.
For me, there’s a priest in Kentucky with the same name and it’s probably 50/50 if it’s him or me in the alert.
This is my favorite engine.
Grand Trunk #713 ran a branch line that ended in Lewiston, Maine…my hometown. Passenger service there ended in the 1950s. The locomotive (the only survivor from that line) is preserved in a railroad museum outside Montreal.
This is a beautiful engine.
I think, at my age, I’ve finally picked a favorite engine and it’s Moguls.

I remember doing the panel on starting an anime con at Providence Anime Conference and realizing DURING the panel that I ignored most of my own advice while planning PAC. 😅
Get 10 little trucks for the price of a Muskmobile and have money left over!
If you were in New England, I’d get a pass for you too. 😆

I could apply for a press pass, pick it up, and then pass it off to you. 😂
I didn’t see them trying to promote at AB this year. Did I miss them? …or are they not even putting in minimal effort?
They submit constant updates to FanCons after every single guest is added to any of their cons. Freakin’ annoying. I wish they’d do batches like other cons.
That happened to me with H&R Block a few years back and it was also the last time I used H&R Block.
I had to ask my accountant for an extension because it apparently takes a freakin’ week to electronically transfer money into a SEP IRA. 😑
…but putting money into the IRA means I don’t owe the government money.
Out of all the traffic over the last day, Amazonbot requested more than double the second-most IP. Blocked them completely. There's no valid reason they need to index my site. Sorry, Alexa.
I just spent more than an hour looking at web server logs and blocking a bunch of bots that excessively crawl my site for "advertising evaluation" reasons.
They're not even serving the ads, so they can GTFO.
Ugh. I only have 2 ads on most pages of my site, sometimes 3. Top banner, bottom banner, and maybe a rectangle on the right. It’s unobtrusive but enough to keep the site running.
These sites looked at the numbers and decided to double their ads to make a line go up…and did it repeatedly. Idiots!
I want to pitch an article, but want someone else to write it…because the last person to write an article about it got sued by the subject of the article. (Then the subject walked away from the lawsuit before he had to submit discovery that would likely have revealed it was all true. 😆)

BOSTON -- The first pitch that mattered most was not the one that Brayan Bello threw at 95.8 mph in Boston’s eventual 7-1 loss to the Orioles in the 113th home opener at Fenway Park.
No, it was thrown...
Happy Confederate Surrender Day!
Here's a 1915 news article about Major John D. Parkhurst, my great-great-great-grandfather who fought in the Civil War. He died 101 years ago, but his legacy lives on.
Also, I think it might be his dining room table that we're using in our house.
I took this photo almost 11 years ago in Ireland. This road is barely the width of a car and has numerous blind curves…but sure, drive 80 km/h (50mph)!
Mark my words. In a couple years, Jack Stansbury is going to be a voice actor that studios and conventions will be tripping over themselves trying to get booked.

twit.tvMost of those 5 were pre-covid (through early March). I think there was only 1 (in the UK) that cancelled due to covid as far as his 2020 bookings go.
Look through his appearances prior to 2019 and you’ll see some cancelled appearances. In most cases, he got a better offer from a larger con and cancelled the smaller one.
Considerate guests NEVER do this after accepting an invite.

How many con appearances he made by this point in 2017: 12

That package that bounced back and forth in Alabama hasn’t moved again since Monday.
USPS is clearly messed up intentionally or due to incompetence.
Waiting on a package that went to Montgomery, AL and has now bounced back and forth between Birmingham and Huntsville six times in four days.
Yeah, USPS is messed up.
I think ordering one of those should put the buyer on a watch list.
“Is opening ceremonies worth attending?” is a common question at anime cons.
At Anime Boston, the answer is always YES!
Make sure you don’t look directly at this episode.😎 🌑

I didn’t get an invite until a co-worker had an extra.
June 1st start date here.
Wish I got a chance to see you, but I was chained to a table in the autograph hall most of the weekend and didn’t get to see many people.
