I read. I watch TV. I watch movies. I attempt to write. I think about gaming.
I'm asexual, demi-romantic and non-binary. Pronouns are They/Them, but am fine with any pronouns.
Waiting on an Uber to get me to work. Leaving a bit earlier than usual.
Waiting on my Uber. Tired and looking to get off my feet,
Work day is half over. Then tomorrow and off Wednesday and Thursday off!
The Three Musketeers, but they are TMNT style mutant animals in the modern day.
My roommates are going out of town for a few days. So I have to take an uber home tonight and to/from work tomorrow. Then I have Wednesday and Thursday off. They'll be home sometime Thursday.
Thorn Honeybrew is a male Goblin Tiefling Wizard. He is a former gang wizard, was assumed killed and moved to a new city to hide. He tries to use his magical skills to help those in need/danger whether those are gangs, the authorities or whatever. He can't fly with his wings, but he hopes to.
Almost done with lunch. Then my work day is half over.
At work and had to do some VR training stuff. Went fine, but there was no need for it to be VR.
Ended up doing nothing after I got home from work. Was just mentally wiped.
Brain is dredging up some dark stuff. I've done some bad stuff. I know everyone has. Generally I've come to terms with bad stuff and seek to be a better person every day. Every once in a while my brain tortures me with the memories. I'll be okay. Just need to get my head together before work.
Lysra Zauath is a Drow Rogue and friends with Suzanne and Diamond. She works in cybersecurity with the same company that Suzanne works for. She uses both of her rogue and cybersecurity skills to assist Suzanne and Diamond in helping their community.
Been a fucking day. Other opener called out. Then the closer came in and left. No idea if he quit or what. I was there for an extra 30 minutes. Waiting for my ride now.
Might have an idea for Diamond Holloestone and Suzanne Berrypatch. Have to see how I feel when I get home after work.
After lunch I’ll be back in the garden center/heat. I’ll make sure to drink plenty of water while out there.
Because of the heat they are switching us out of the garden center every hour rather than every two hours.
Work is going to be chaotic today. Someone on my team called out. Because of that a boss had to relieve me for my break.
I generally don't like the age ranges in D&D. I tend to prefer most ancestries being closer to Human range. Elves & Dwarves I usually have like a lifespan of like 200 or 300 years.

Switched over to my computer to do something, but I now have no idea what I was going to do.
It was a small company with 4 owners and 5 or 6 employees. One was the office manager. The other employees were phone support people like me, but some did other jobs too.
I loved the job, but also hated dealing with people. It is also one of the reasons I despise talking on the phone to this day.
My first real job was working at a local internet provider named AlbanyNet. I did phone support for years. It was during the early days of the internet. Dial-up. It was nice being in the office with very high speed internet and being allowed to do pretty much what we wanted on the computers.
Its not great, but the only story I finished in recent history was last year in September. It's not great, but it is still something I'm proud-ish of. It's kind of a fantasy western and it's called The Traveler. Feel free to check it out if you want.

The Traveler Daran Embervale, a tall Elf with a slight build, moved through the narrow cave system. He was following tracks from Goblins that had supposedly raided a nearby farming town. He had a r...
docs.google.comThinking a bit more about Suzanne. Her parents were a married lesbian couple. All the children they were raised were adopted. Her adoptive parents knew her biological parents as adventurers.
That is all likely true, and intellectually I agree, just emotionally and the dark voice in the back of my mind make it difficult. I'll keep poking at ideas. Not giving up, just in a mental dark spot.
I struggle with focus on creating stuff, but on top of this I feel like creating is pointless with AI out there. All of that on my general self-esteem issues.
Still I'm at least still contemplating characters and vaguely thinking about their future.
Back to work tomorrow. Bleh. However I like being paid. So I'll keep pushing through.
Diamond Hollowstone is a Gnome Tiefling Cleric of Life. She is married to Suzanna Berrypatch. Diamond is also a medical doctor, but she has decided to open a clinic to help those in need instead of working at a hospital and the bureaucracy.
Suzanne uses her wealth to partially fund the clinic.
Suzanna Berrypatch is a Goblin that was raised by a Human and a Halfling couple. They were good friends with her parents who died when she was young. They took her in & raised her with their 6 other children. She's a Corporate Mage by day & by night she uses her wealth and magic to help others.
I have a vague idea for her wife. Gnome Cleric that runs a health clinic to help people that can't afford health care. I'm leaning towards the name Diamond Hollowstone. After I finish watching something ill work on her design.

Probably not as flamboyant as some of my outfit designs, but I really like the simplicity. Plus I like ribbon on the hat matching her shirt and the tie, pocket square and shoes matching color.
Lots of character ideas, as you've probably seen over the last few days, but just not enough focus to actually do anything.

After doing some googling there is a variant rule in the 5E DMG for Spell Points. So something to contemplate for the future at least.
I definitely prefer spell points/mana to spell slots like D&D. It is probably the one thing I'd like to see changed, but would require a radical rethinking of the game.
SimCity.
I can't even wrap my mind around this. If I saw a police cybertruck I'd think it shady as fuck.
the president of a California-based company assured me yesterday they are 'indeed working with police departments' to create fleets of militarized Cybertruck cop cars

A California company is advertising ‘tactical response’ Cybertruck upgrades for police cruisers, including shotgun racks and sirens.
www.popsci.comSometimes I almost want to see the versions of shows the chuds claim they are. Something about the Acolyte being a communist screed and the Jedi trying to dethrone god. Sounds kind of awesome. Definitely not what I saw from the first two episodes.
Woke up from a dream where I was trying to get to a movie theater, but stuff kept going wrong. I was in a mall, but it was also a convenience store. Power went out. My buddy was selling light bulbs on his cell phone. Woke up and had to figure out what was real.
Von Blazingforge is a Conjuration Wizard of mixed Dwarven & Goblin ancestry. Her family was accepted by neither Dwarven of Goblin communities and ended up finding a home among Humans. She stands at an even 4 feet in height.
Just a casual modern Troll woman. She's ready for a fight, but would rather talk it out.
Just another one of those visuals I suddenly had in my head. No real point, just needed to design her and share her. :D
I've managed to accomplish nothing today and I'm okay with that.
Jonathan Wells is of mixed Human & Orc ancestry. He's a Huckster traveling the Weird(er) West. His curiosity and impulsiveness often get him in tough situations. He has a general curiosity about the occult and the weird in general.
