Just a fat kangaroo (or sometimes a paunchy stork) who's here for fat furry stuff AND vintage vinyl records and retro stuff.
I hear Blue Jays often when I take my morning walks, and sometimes even see them! I squeeee every time I hear one! One once looked at me upside down through my kitchen window standing on my gutter!
I forgot to post my favourite flea market find from last weekend: I finally found A Charlie Brown Christmas on vinyl! ...for just $4.00!
The lighting on Bandit's belly is just.... muah! *chef's kiss*
I just reported the two posts as well (thanks to Skedaddle's help!)
Nah I'd never do him justice, that style is harder than it seems!
He comes from an imaginary world and to visit "Absurdia" (our real world), he disguised himself as a yellow dog by shaving his mane:
Get a load of this pudgy lion... mrrrrf...
His name is Majestor and he is found in the Belgian comic book series Olivier Rameau by Dany & Greg.
I found a beat up but still complete copy of "Le grand voyage en Absurdie" for a buck at the flea market just for these two images. (more...)
Here's a sketch of Snagglepuss, letting himself go, under the influence of Roofus and his cooking.
The pose is based on a sketch by @Bluescale (I can't find any trace of their account since March, anyone has seen it?)
All records get worn out a little bit at every play. The higher quality the turntable & stylus are, the lesser the damages.
I was lucky to use high speed cable internet right off the bat from day 1, in 2000.
The one on the right in the 1st photo would look great on my wolf fursuit!
It's so bad that I got my old PC tower with XP installed on it fixed for several hundred dollars last year just to keep using Photoshop 14 on it (as well as my scanner, which doesn't work with Win 10, 64 bits).
Two weeks later, at the same flea market, I find this used 101 Dalmatian beach towel for just $1!
*hugs* thank you. I can replace my axe, but I still feel violated.
Tonight I worked hard chopping a big lilac branch with an axe. I went in the shed to put some tools away, came back and my Garant axe got stolen. A neighbour saw a bunch of 15-ish teenagers with packsacks steal it on my front lawn and ran away with it. I'm a bit bummed out. I hate robbers.
10cc! The B-side of that comp is chuck full of terrific songs!

You robbed a bank. Who’s driving the getaway car?

I had the same realization when I picked up and played the CD of this album! LOL
Thank you so much, Mishi! *hugs tight* ❤️ Pauly looks so young there! XD
"Big kick, plain scrap" on the Nick Lowe album is a hell of an earworm!
If you grew up like me watching Sesame Street, I STRONGLY recommend watching the documentary "I am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story". And unless you have a heart of stone, make sure to have some tissues handy. There are several very touching moments. www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...
In Loving Memory of Caroll Spinney; 1933 - 2019
www.youtube.comI played weird oddball stuff like "Hey Jude" by Bing Crosby, "Chick-chika-chick-chika-chick" by Biddu Orchestra or "French fried potatoes and ketchup" by Sammy Davis Jr.
