The power cord doesn't charge the controller. It merely connects the controller to the console and allows you to play without charging. Needless to say, this was not a viable solution for me. #PS5

Then, one day, my controller wouldn't charge. It was hella annoying. I bought a new wire and eventually a new controller. #PS5
