Imagine thinking language is anything but a constantly evolving social construct. We've come a long way since "Oook ook *slaps chest, throws poo*"
We've got complex mathematics now that allowed us to make these things that allow us to near instantly talk to people on the other side of the planet.
the way i was thinking about that scene earlier this week like damn
Imagine looking at a poll in May that shows 18% of young people voting for RFK and thinking the move is to panic instead of “well, let’s see what happens when people are actually paying attention”
I’ve tried and liked apricot & passionfruit LaCroix. Thinking about going for guava or hibiscus next. Figure none will be _bad_ (except coconut but that’s bc I don’t like coconut), but do wonder if one stands out over the rest.
I dunno. Could very well be "Bob." Might also be read as "808." Were you thinking about buying a vintage Roland setup?
Can't stop thinking about how I talked for years about getting gummy bart simpson as a tattoo and my ex husband got it on a lads holiday instead.

i am a bit skeptical of their stuff, but admit i like the simplicity of the mechanism pro line. thoughts on tko? to me the wood wood artsy crowd got their sticky fingers into things a bit too far. Or maybe i am boring and not cool enough for the bucket hat and matching off ride clothing? by -Red_Rocket-
www.cyclingeu.comthinking about pivoting into marketing consulting and becoming a guy who charges exorbitant fees to tell old executive morons stuff like “every flavor tells a story”
thinking again about "dopeboy210", an infamous alphabay seller who didn't realize that putting your area code in your username is a bad idea. anybody from san antonio would have seen that username and been like "oh this guy is local"
I’m thinking exactly the same! I might use words as much as possible now.
But then they might be misconstrued too! Arrgh 🫨
This feels like a hidden truth we were all thinking but couldn't put to words
To satisfy our doubts, therefore, it is necessary that a method should be found by which our beliefs may be determined by nothing human, but by some external permanency -- by something upon which our thinking has no effect.
Great fun, thank you! A system that’s got me thinking, would certainly play more of it!
I was thinking on what you were raising with this @chadstanton.bsky.social
The way the group the culture belongs to feels about it is first in the ethics of cultural appropriation. Palestinians tend to feel positively about outsiders wearing the keffiyeh in solidarity. Black people vocalize our specific objections to appropriation of our culture, but are we heard?
😂😂😂 Anise you’ll have half of Bluesky thinking you’re coming in for hugs!
All the "lesser known" horror talk on the skyline got me thinking about JUST how much I loved this Icelandic masterpiece, and how I haven't rewatched it! Immediately had to turn it on before finishing my list of lesser known horror.
Now watching: Rökku/Rift (2017) dir. Erlingur Thoroddsen

We were thinking it wasn't fair that a "milestone" year was one you had to wait to post this on.
Have you ever put on a movie thinking you haven't seen it before, but then a few scenes in it feels familiar enough that you know you HAVE seen it before, but still can't remember what happens and so watch the whole film with a feeling of deja vu?
Anyway, I rewatched WHAT LIES BENEATH last night.
Yep I remember summer '08 everyone complaining about the cost of gas. By the fall, it had totally cratered and I remember thinking "Well, this is what you wanted more than anything else! Wait, why aren't you happy?"
It’s always in a church basement… why would I count every day without something i was sure I couldn’t live without? That’s like counting every day after someone you loves dies. Just thinking about them being dead all the time. Then they act like they own sobriety. Old white men don’t own sobriety
Right now I'm thinking I might need to do something like get a project management certification to become more viable. I know, very cool and very exciting stuff, definitely not bougie/boring af 🙄. But I need to do what I can to find a path and survive.
So if making furry outfits any advice?
I was thinking something small idea but was just curious on where people even begin with the hobby. Art can be fun in general but seems like a lot of options so any ideas of where to begin?
I was thinking gloves or a ear hat thing maybe 🤔
Just brainstorming
Asked a coworker about their mid to late 2000s laptop thinking they are running a Linux distro and they told me they’re using Windows XP and it’s their main system they use for internet and everything
was thinking of recording Ulysses for the open-source audiobook website cos I've decent audio equipment and I'm not American but then my enemies would have recordings of me saying slurs

oh no I got one of those thermometers with the wire and the readout that sits outside the oven and it's SO GOOD
- stick into chicken
- click button until chicken icon flashes
- put chicken into oven
- do other things until thermometer beeps
- remove chicken from oven
NO THINKING
Someone unfortunately hit a deer on Friday, just up the road, and this morning I saw a turkey vulture. It flew away and then got chased by a hawk. Now it’s back, and it brought a friend. I’m thinking more invites have gone out.
Yeah, this is part of what I'm thinking, here! But I would be sorta worried that too much game time might be spent on getting all the wizard's kit refilled—as opposed to just getting weapons and armor for everybody else. That's why the material component focus seems better in an all-caster game.
It's funny to me people think its a lack of education. In my personal case what brought me to start thinking rationally was religion, the contradictions not just in the texts (of which solidifed my position) but in the actions of those who claim to follow the teachings of the bible and such.
I sat in the car for twenty minutes just thinking after seeing I Saw the TV Glow…so yeah I liked it
I don't feel like I'm ready to be a functioning adult. I don't feel like I'll EVER be ready. But I'm 25, I'm late. I'm supposed to be out there already, working and saving up for an apartment and thinking about the future.
There is a guy on the El blasting the Arthur theme song and singing along. I was thinking how wholesome it was until the next song that came on is using a ton of curse words and the n word.
Also, there is no necessary connection between thinking that the justices are largely honest people doing their best and thinking they are apolitical.
And why we are here..
While some of us push for Democrats to come into the light.
Many others, were watching soap operas and scripted reality tv and thinking true.
Our children are suffering the sins of not paying attention.
Thinking about years ago when i was out with coworks at a mew job amd one guy was telling me about one of the other coworks and said “well you should know she’s transgender” and im like first of all, rude, that’s not for you to tell anybody, second of all she already told me she DMs
Like, this whole thread? This is not JDM thinking the the CFPB case is predictively checkmate to separation of powers adventurism. This is JDM flagging tools for pressing that part of the decisional process that *is* responsive to internally driven desire for consistency and normal legal behavior
Today’s CFPB appropriations case recognizes that the 1789 Constitution created an incredibly thin structural government framework, leaving virtually all decisions about how to run the railroad for Congress to decide. This is great news!
But wait there’s more… 1/🧵

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's funding mechanism in a challenge brought by the payday loan industry, handing a victory to President Joe Biden's administration and a setback to the agency's conservative critics.
www.reuters.comive been thinking abt this for a long while now but what if i back up everything in my twt priv and just deactivate it already? the last time ive been comfortable enough to say anything that wasnt even vulnerable was way before 2024...

Ah! I was thinking you were off to Tokyo, and I was going to be sure-envious. Mind you, I’m pretty envious of Malta too!
I avoid people on here who want their follower count up because [insert reason]. I've had quite enough of people thinking they're so important they deserve followers.
I saw a Suzuki Jimny in the flesh for the first time two weeks ago and I still find myself thinking about it
We should care about others’ feelings and know our own are valid no matter what, but not be so precious about our own that we punish others for hurting us unintentionally. It’s ok to be hurt if someone hurts you unintentionally but thinking they are bad or should suffer for it is an asshole move.
Thinking of those who will be revisiting this trauma again in the quest for answers. Kia kaha.
