it’s labeled as some level of adult content. can be 3 different levels, but they don’t show it to you!
Not only that, in some places they say they are talking about all adult sexual works, but in their section on porn they define it only as photos and videos of real people. Do these changes apply to only that content, or is it all adult content? Does it apply to some and not others?

Asking a kinkster to self-label their content as ‘offensive’ is a slippery slope. If sharing fetish content is allowed that content should be considered adult and labeled as such.
I’m all for strong-enforcing the use of the adult label though: restrictions for failure to do so
I dont ask people not to make stuff like that if that's what they want. All I ask is people to be respecfully enough of others who don't want to see it, to label it as adult content. So people who have an anti adult setting on, doesn't have to see it.
The algorithm is switching to match twitter. So, they will completely hide SWers profiles all together if they are labeled as adult content. Even if our posts are SFW on an account labeled “adult content”, it will be marked as nudity automatically, even if not nudity.

What I would love to see though, is a specific mention of which label it is, instead of labeling everything "adult content", so maybe:
Adult content: suggestive
Adult content: nudity
Adult content: porn
So people know what kind of content they will see before clicking on it.

People are asking to be removed either because they don't believe Adult Feral Art should be allowed on the feeds, or because they also want Adult Cub Art to be allowed as well. It appears FurryList seems fine removing them instead of giving into their demands, as they should.

I marked this as adult content, posted it, and then immediately got a warning saying this has been labeled and asking if I want to appeal the decision. I'm like yeah I labeled it as adult why are you yelling at me that you labeled it as adult??
Something that sucks about being an adult is seeing, again and again, the least capable and curious people in the world elevated to positions of authority specifically because they are incapable and anticurious.
I'm sorry Boundless is a division of Avatar so seems when it went more adult oriented they moved it to a different label.

I’m confused, “adult” is the category for 3 labels: suggestive, nudity, porn. You are supposed to label your adult photos. If you don’t, BS’ bot will and sometimes it overrides your label.
“Adult content” is what a user sees, if BS overrode your label or labeled it for you that can be appealed.
The golden child can't adult. People don't understand that being the golden child as toxic as they can be.. it is a form of abuse to do this to that child. Not just having a contentious relationship with any siblings... they can't adult!

Just had to log off of a different social site because people are flipping out in anger over the concept of content warnings, saying things like "You're an adult. Suck it up!" to people with complex PTSD.
They don't even consider it hypocrisy, because it isn't 'hypocritical' if it follows their own ruleset about hierarchy authority and order, where different rules apply to different groups of people. Their 'double standard' is actual an entire twisted corrupt set of standards of hierarchal authority.
As a quick disclaimer, I'm not against people being into adult NSFW, I'm against people having a lack of respect for consent from another adult and making it easier for minors to unwittingly come across said content whom are not of the age to consent to it yet.
The problem is they don't give you a way to blanket flag all of your pictures as adult content like Twitter did so people forget and then people get mad because they accidentally get shown adult content so instead of allowing us to do it to our entire profile they're doing it for us... It's silly!
The content filters are broken in the sense that if you mark something as nudity it will go into the bucket of things adult. And in order to show things nudity you have to filter to show adult. Essentially nudity and adult are the same thing as it stands. Bluesky will say they are "working on it" 🙄
