my family does this too but with grudges and type 2 diabetes

Same. Bourbon keeps me sociable at the gatherings.

I'm sorry, but did this dude not previously write in the Guardian that he "reversed" his Type 2 diabetes? and now he's writing about "me and the country’s other 38 million people with diabetes"?
The ADA just settled an explosive legal case accusing the organization of betraying people with diabetes

Remembering family gatherings that were feasts, but served to mess with my head and fat shame me.
“Eat everything or you’re rude. But you eat too much.”
This commercial gets so meta when she wanders "out of camera range" and pals around with hair, make-up, and wardrobe. Does Joanne really have Type-2 diabetes? Or does she just play a Type-2 diabetes haver on TV? Either way, she's managing it well.
I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes recently and my doctor tried to get me on Ozempic cause it's made for diabetes and apparently does wonders, but my insurance won't cover it cause they consider it just a weightloss cosmetic drug thanks to this new fad. Great system we got!
There are only 2 types of people in the world:
• People with type 1 diabetes
• People with type 2 diabetes
Somewhere in my brain, Bourbon 2 is sitting down at a table with Bourbon 1 and planning amazing things for me.
@thebeemo.bsky.social called me "the drunk tio at family gatherings" and i feel seen 🖤
This is me at family gatherings 😂😂😂
i hear that but i also hold grudges and the prospect of vindication keeps me going

Doc : " Does diabetes run in your family?"
Me : Doc, the problem is NOBODY runs in my family!"
Same. Loving Nat and Shoresy's relationship this season too, and Shoresy's family dinner with the hugs at the end... So good
Cancer and type 1 diabetes are not the same thing. 69 and 81 are not the same thing.
I understand, but if the world keeps rooting, and my "family" doesn't help but keeps pressure me with stuff only benefits them, I don't know
I'm group 2 with group 3 tendencies, but I started buying the same Moleskine notebook with the graph paper pages (keeps my handwriting neat and small) and using the same type of pen to write in them and it's solved the use paralysis problem.
It’s National Notebook Day! When it comes to notebooks folks seem to fall into 3 camps: those that don’t use notebooks; those that have notebooks & fill them voraciously; and those that have many notebooks & refuse to write in them for fear of messing them up or ruining them. Which one are you?
Damn. I was looking at them too. Looking and thinking type 2 diabetes if I start down that path. 😀
