Beaver dams help to maintain fish habitats, but it seems that during low water, the dams can slow down fish migration. But salmon and beavers have been together, and reduced beaver populations have negative impacts on salmon populations, so as a whole, beavers should be more beneficial for salmon.

I just had a thought about the Russia / Ukraine conflict.
We hear over and over that the US et all is providing weapons to help fight against Russia.
But don't think that these countries are just giving this to them. They will need to pay them back.

to put it in really dorky terms a lot of arguments online appear to really boil down to "resolved; everything is pointless and doomed forever" and the aff side is represented by a person who has untreated clinical depression but a shitload of red bull
I know "we believe it's better to understand how their approach will impact our lives" probably wasn't meant as weapons testing on civilian populations apologism but it's very hard not to read it as that.
I think we have to create an environment where we support each other and where we can help if needed. This seems the best place so far to do this and I'm not letting that go.
So would meaningfully dealing with what’s accelerated income inequality (as raised in ep 1) help “reach” these populations, stop them mobilizing? Who knows. But it would provide relief to a whole lot of people! Including people these formations are scapegoating.
