The business was so successful that it was awarded Small Businessman of the Year Award by the SBA in 1975. (Somewhere there's a nice picture of the four of them posing in the White House with President Ford, Senator Garn, Congressman McKay, and whoever the head of the SBA was at the time.)
Once upon a time, there were two couples, Mr. and Mrs. Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell, who went into business together and built up a small but very successful business making and selling toys and novelties. (E.g., animal-themed waterproof beanbags, intended as bath toys, called "The Mini Pets.")
