Only on Monday did the German government publicise the delivery of an unknown number of IRIS-T SL missiles to Ukraine to supply the systems already delivered. Another IRIS-T SLM system was also to be delivered to Ukraine at the end of April (delivery not yet confirmed).

As far as production is concerned, I can say that in terms of air defence the production capacities are currently: 1 to 1.5 TRML-4D per month, 4 to 8 IRIS-T SLM per year, 500 IRIS-T / IRIS-T SL missiles per year.

Yurii Ihnat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, told DW that they expect from Germany the delivery of another IRIS-T SLM air defence system to Ukraine by the end of the current winter. Four more systems until the end of 2024 = a total of 5 IRIS-T SLM systems this year!
In the largest single attack on Ukraine to date, 114 of the 158 drones & cruise missiles were destroyed. Still, at least 23 civilians died.
Good that Germany is currently carrying out a delivery of up to 120 IRIS-T missiles to Ukraine — strengthening the Ukrainian air defence!

According to the German Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius, Lithuania is contributing to the German IAAD initiative which aims to strengthen the Ukrainian air defence with six AMBER-1800 air surveillance radars. He did not provide any further details such as a planned delivery date.
